- Responsible for provision of sports medicine, rehabilitation care of the injured athlete. Promote healthy behaviors, build stronger relationships and increase accessibility to community projects. Provides instruction to community allied health providers in emergency care of the injure athlete. 3 yearsMust have strong computer background skills. Role Specific ResponsibilitiesProvides written reports for monthly statistics to Sports Coordinator. Communicates with, but not limited to Safety, HR, physician, Case Manager, Insurance Adjuster, therapy provider, coach, AD and injured client/athlete to facilitate efficient and appropriate services.
Assess and develop health and wellness services for outreach clients. Performs educational sessions for outreach clients on injury prevention, nutritional plans and emergency careImplements preventative/early intervention care and instruction for all athletesProvides education and training to allied health providers in the community for the proper transport and care of the injured athlete. Travels with the athletic team to all events as required.
