Job Posting Title: Athletic Trainer, Community EventsLocation: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical CenterAdditional Posting Details: PRNJob Description: Duties/ResponsibilitiesAthletic Trainers coordinate and provides coverage for outside events on behalf of the Sports Medicine CenterAssist in the assessment and treatment of sport-related injuries at events designated by the Scotitsh RiteProvide sports injury assessment at events, and on-site care of athletic injuries, such as immediate first aid and evaluation of injury statusRefer athletes requiring additional medical or health care services to the appropriate resources for such care (for example, the athlete’s primary care physician or nearest hospital)

/AbilitiesMinimum Bachelor’s degree in an accredited athletic training program or related fieldMinimum 1-2 years of experience preferredBoard of Certification, Inc. (BOC) certification preferredLicense in the state of TexasCPR required
