You’ll need
Licensure
✓Athletic Training State Licensure in state of employment required or
Certifications
✓Stays current with the latest evidence-based practices in athletic training, maintaining certifications and participating in continuing education opportunities.
✓AT - Certified Athletic Trainer in state of employment required
✓BLS - Basic Life Support obtained within 90 days of employment required
Qualifications
✓1-3 years of experience in athletic training or a related field required
✓Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention strategies.
✓Proficiency in evaluating athletic injuries and developing appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with athletes, coaches, healthcare professionals, and parents.
✓Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
✓Skilled in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records.
✓Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to athletic training and sports medicine.
✓Strong organizational and time management abilities.
