Description

WakeMed ENT is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our growing specialty practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and improving the quality of life for patients with hearing and balance disorders. The Audiologist is responsible for the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, balance disorders, and other auditory-related conditions.

This role provides evidence-based audiologic care across the continuum of care, including diagnostic testing, counseling, rehabilitation, and follow-up services

Conduct comprehensive audiologic and vestibular evaluations utilizing established diagnostic protocols. Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with hearing, balance, and related auditory disorders. Provide hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, verification, troubleshooting, and follow-up care.

Educate and counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, treatment options, and hearing conservation. Design and implement habilitation and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation and clinical records.

Collaborate with ENT physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and treatment recommendations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support practice goals and operational excellence. Stay current with advancements in audiology through continuing education and professional development.

Who we are looking for Demonstrate strong diagnostic skills in the evaluation and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, and vestibular disorders. Have experience with hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
