✓Requirements
Licensure
✓The candidate must hold or be able to obtain an Illinois Department of Professional Regulation License for Audiology.
Certifications
✓The candidate must have completed the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or ABA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Education
✓Master of Science/Arts(MS/MA) in Audiology
✓Doctor of Audiology (AuD or PhD) degree from an accredited educational body.
Qualifications
✓Complete and submit charge forms for each patient seen, enter charges on daily census.
✓Participate in the UCH Studies when appropriate and provide follow-up recommendations to the study patient's family.
✓Maintain Audiology files with patient audiograms and hearing aid or other reports.
✓Participate in continuing education courses/seminars/workshops related to the practice of clinical audiology.
✓Provide patient education to the patient and to the patient's family.
✓Confirm appointments, review instructions, referrals for "managed care". Pull Clinic Charts.
✓Maintain Clinic appearance and follow all appropriate hospital patient care, regulatory, and administrative policies.
✓Recent graduates from accredited audiology programs will be considered.
