Authorization Assistant, General Surgery

AS AN AUTHORIZATION ASSISTANT , you will be responsible for obtaining all authorizations of outpatient testing. You will schedule the outpatient testing with the outpatient scheduling department and informs the patient of the appointment and any instructions for testing.

High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant medical experience required Completion of a medical assistant program with 2 years hands on experience performing clinical duties, Preferred Prior administrative office procedures experience within a physician office required Knowledge and experience in Payor Authorization Requirements, Required CPR Certification within the first year of hire required NHA or NCCT Medical Assistant Certification, Preferred WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive Compensation based on experience Professional Development Supportive and Experienced Peers
