Certifications
✓At minimum, must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent), if working in an Addiction Recovery program that requires this.
✓Bi-annual re-certification is required.
✓Annual re-certification is required.
Education
✓Bachelor’s Degree required (human services, psychology, social work, or related field).
Qualifications
✓Proven experience as Behavior Specialist at Rogers (minimum 1 year).
✓Cross-trained in two (2) other programs (including other levels of care).
✓Must have completed Behavior Specialist preceptor training.
✓Demonstrated ability to carry a full caseload while engaging in problem-solving to maintain flexibility in meeting additional patient care needs.
✓For Residential programs – Must hold a current and active driver's license and be in good standing (preferred for all levels of care).

About the role
