Certifications
✓Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board within 6 months of hire.
✓RBT credential or BCaBA credential
✓Commit to ongoing training and development, such as RBT certification.
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent
✓Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field
Qualifications
✓State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
✓One (1) year providing treatment to with young children with autism
✓Must be ambitious and self-motivated.
✓Must like and be comfortable with change.
✓Must be comfortable collaborating with attending physicians.
✓Must be well organized.
✓Must possess efficient time management skills.
✓Excellent verbal communication skills.
✓Understanding of medical terminology.
✓Ability to respond quickly to varying demands from provider and patient.
✓Must be able to work well as part of a team.
✓Maintain professional boundaries.
✓Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
✓Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and related skills.
