Education
✓Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field required.
Qualifications
✓Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
✓LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Indiana required.
✓2 + years of experience providing mental health treatment required.
✓Evaluate psychosocial status and needs for development of appropriate disposition.
Past experience in crisis triage and management, risk assessments, and working with mental health and chemically dependent populations preferred.
Experience in medical milieu preferred.

About the role

The Behavioral Health Crisis Therapist conducts crisis mental health and substance abuse evaluations for consumers. Evaluates biopsychosocial status and needs for the development of an appropriate treatment/crisis plan. Provides 24-hour mental health/substance abuse emergency resources to persons in central Indiana.
