Education
✓Associate Degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, standards of practice, and evidence-based patient care.
✓Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
✓Ability to function effectively as a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
✓Effective verbal, written, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✓Knowledge of EKG interpretation requirements as appropriate for assigned patient populations and departmental needs.
✓Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
✓Basic computer proficiency, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Windows-based applications.
✓Ability to assess patient conditions, evaluate interventions, and revise plans of care using critical thinking and sound clinical judgment.
✓Ability to apply professional nursing knowledge and clinical judgment to support positive patient outcomes.
One year of acute care hospital nursing experience preferred.
