Single. Day. Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN to join our BEHAVIORAL HEALTH - RESIDENTIAL team!
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide compassionate care in a residential setting, fostering a safe environment and supporting patients’ addiction recovery alongside a multidisciplinary team. Your role is essential in helping individuals progress through their personalized treatment. The role of a Behavioral Health Technician encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at providing exceptional patient care and support within our residential treatment program.
This role includes attentive patient supervision to ensure their safety, well-being and privacy throughout their treatment recovery journey, office tasks (filing paperwork, documentation, answering phones, utilizing copy/fax machine, etc.), monitoring patients while they self-administer medications, maintain facility cleanliness, ensure facility policies and procedures are maintained, and additional duties as assigned by department leader.
HOURS: Part Time 0.7 FTE; 56 hours bi-weekly - Night Shift MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Required: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date CBRF training within 30 days of hire or transfer.
