About the role

WellSpan’s Emergency Behavioral Health (EBH) Program provides comprehensive behavioral health assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and disposition planning services for individuals presenting to WellSpan Emergency Departments with behavioral health needs.

What you’ll do
Triages requests for serviceTriages requests for service, providing prompt assistance to all requests in relation to their urgency
Uses independent clinical assessmentUses independent clinical assessment
Judgement to make safetyJudgement to make safety observation recommendations in the ED
Determines appropriate level ofDetermines appropriate level of care based on the client’s history, psychosocial history, clinical presentation, and funding situation
Instructs and assists theInstructs and assists the client and client family in completing all necessary paperwork, and witnesses signatures as necessary
