Job

A licensed clinical professional is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families, primarily in a school-based setting, with potential service delivery in an outpatient clinical office setting. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and the delivery of evidence-based interventions to help clients manage symptoms, develop coping skills, improve functioning, and enhance overall well-being.

The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician experienced in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, with a strong commitment to ethical, client-centered practice. Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) preferred. Success in this role requires effective collaboration with school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and support positive student outcomes.

Clinical Services (65%) Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments (as pertinent to care model) and determine appropriate levels of care. Assess for risk of harm to self or others Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and/or stakeholders to ensure holistic and integrated care. Crisis Intervention Respond to mental health crises and provide immediate support.

De-escalate crises and promote safety. Facilitate and deliver critical incident response services and offer psychoeducation as requested Connect clients with appropriate resources and services. Documentation (30%) Maintain accurate, timely and confidential client records including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

Administrative Duties (5%) Maintain productivity standards as required by program management Participate in staff meetings and training Assist with program development and evaluation. Invest in regular networking with stakeholders and/or the community to promote the program and services, answer questions and ensure referrals. Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure efficient operations.

Other Job Duties as Assigned

Full time. Flexible day schedule at school site: 7:00am to 3:30pm, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Community site would include early evening hours.
