✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Maintains a current state license.
✓Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (Licensed in Texas)
✓LCSW (required)
✓LPC (required)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (Licensed in Texas)One year of experience providing short-term, evidence-based counseling in a clinic, hospital, community agency or private practice, preferred.
Education
✓Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling or other behavioral health related field.
✓Masters (required)
Qualifications
✓Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
✓Excellent interviewing and assessment skills
✓Strong ability to translate assessment information into a treatment plan
✓Demonstrated success in working with a culturally diverse patient population and community
✓Demonstrated ability in managing stress and crisis situations
✓Knowledge of local, state, and federal community resources available to patients
✓Ability to work independently
✓Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
✓Experience working in an electronic health record or willingness and ability to learn
✓Basic computer skills including experience with Word, Excel and/or Google products and ability to touch type on a keyboard.
