Behavioral & Mental Health Specialist - Full Time Nights

✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Certifications
✓Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP) Tier 5 training, or equivalent, within 3 months of employment
Education
✓Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited graduate school
✓Completion of Marcus Crisis Prevention Program as a user within 90 days of hire
Qualifications
✓Three years of experience in postgraduate clinical or social work setting
✓Supervised clinical hours served in order to be licensed
✓Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
✓Skills in coordination, delegation and team collaboration
✓Demonstrated knowledge of age-appropriate assessment, treatment and practice
✓Ability to show accountability for actions in an autonomous role
✓Ability to establish rapport and use therapeutic communication with others
✓Ability to remain calm and manage verbal/physical responses in stressful situations
✓Knowledge of BMH facilities, 1013 placement process, etc.
Experience in behavioral & mental health preferred
Experience in a crisis or emergency department setting working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations preferred
Experience with behavioral & mental health (BMH) facilities and placement procedures preferred
