You’ll need
Education
✓Associate’s Degree in a related field OR completion of Military Biomedical training program OR an Associate’s Degree or higher in an unrelated field and CBET certification OR 7 years Biomed equipment maintenance experience.
✓Ability to maintain confidentiality with the highest degree of integrity and discretion.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Technology or Biomedical Technology preferred
Qualifications
✓Completion of seven manufacturer-level seminars.
✓Five years Biomed experience
✓Use of common hand tools.
✓Use of PC and data entry skills.
✓Use of test equipment.
✓Knowledge of electronic theory and safety procedures.
✓Ability to utilize manufacturer’s service and operators manuals and other documentation
✓Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair basic electronic and electromechanical equipment.
✓Self-directed, strong attention to detail.
✓Strong problem-solving skills.
✓Strong ability to reason logically and critically.
✓Strong organizational skills including effective time management and ability to set/reset priorities accordingly and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
✓Demonstrate the ability to communicate ideas clearly both orally and in writing to hospital staff, vendors, patients and patient’s families.
✓Exceptional customer relation skills.
