Provides limited specialized technical support to customers. Responsibilities Performs preventive maintenance on medical equipment. Corrective maintenance will be done at component level as directed.
Assists in performing clinical and electronic equipment installations and construction of test or electronic devices. Evaluates clinical equipment per manager's request and departmental needs and become with the operation of the equipment. Performs repairs on medical equipment and testing on all new and repaired systems on units within this departments responsibility.
Maintains records of all assigned equipment. Performs scheduled inspection of the preventive maintenance variety and completes electrical safety testing of assigned equipment to insure code compliance. Responsible for documenting the results of any and all inspections, maintenance and tests.

Two or more years of post high school education as offered by technical school/ junior college or equivalent on-the-job training.
