Certifications
✓Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) may substitute for one year of required experience.
✓Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
Education
✓Associate’s degree (or equivalent credit hours) in biomedical equipment technology, electronics, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field. preferred
Qualifications
✓Seven (7) years of experience as a biomedical equipment technician or radiology equipment specialist.
Experience managing large-scale equipment installations or integration projects. preferred
