Role Overview As a Breeding Colony Technician, you will play a vital role in providing skilled husbandry and animal care services to laboratory rodents used in research. You will support the Supervisor and Leader of Bioresources, acting as a resource for breeding-related scientific and organizational matters. Your work ensures the health and maintenance of breeding colonies, contributing to the success of critical research initiatives.

Assist in the care, feeding, and maintenance of breeding rodent colonies. Act as a resource for scientific and organizational matters related to rodent breeding. Perform routine tasks to ensure the well-being of laboratory animals.
Collaborate with supervisors to support research initiatives. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications Associate's Degree or higher in a related field with 2 years of related animal experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of related animal experience. AALAS LAT certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
Valid Michigan vehicle operator's license with a satisfactory driving record.
