✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Currently enrolled in an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
✓Employees who discontinue enrollment in an ARRT-recognized program during employment must immediately notify their supervisor and/or Human Resources.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Military Training Network is required upon hire, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or otherwise defined by the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety principles.
✓Ability to operate imaging equipment and maintain familiarity with related instruments and supplies.
✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients of varying ages, backgrounds, and cognitive abilities.
✓Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow established protocols and procedures.
✓Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality care, and service excellence.
Previous patient care experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
