Education
✓High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
✓Additional, directly-related and verifiable experience (beyond the three-year minimum required below) may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree on a year-for-year basis.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field is preferred.
Qualifications
✓A minimum of one year of such experience is required.
✓Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
✓Must possess demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage, and excellent written and oral communication skills
✓knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles
✓creativity and flexibility
✓skills in data collection analysis and interpretation
✓record of adherence to deadlines
✓customer service skills
✓willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
Three years of marketing and/or sales, referral development, account management, sales growth and/or physician relationship-building experience within a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Employee Assistance Programs is preferred.
Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of behavioral health and addiction services marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming is highly preferred.
