Description Performs all computerized tomography imaging studies while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license. Flexible scheduling for 8 or 12 hr shifts.
AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs all computerized tomography imaging studies and administration of contrast media. Verifies physician orders for instructions from requesting physician and consults with the radiologists. Performs equipment warm up, calibration and safety check as needed.
Responsible for departmental records and proper documentation. Communicates reactions, complications, changes in condition to appropriate staff.
