Monitors patient conditions via live surveillance footage, communicating conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN), and coordinates response to provide healthcare. Assists with patient care, as needed. Job
Education and Work
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related
Preferred Recent experience in an acute or long-term care hospital: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN): Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Monitors behavior, activities, or other changing information that affects patient safety via live surveillance footage under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Assists the Registered Nurse (RN) with patient care, as needed. Collects basic patient data and reports abnormal behaviors to the Registered Nurse (RN) in a timely manner.
Performs simple, routine tasks of care for patients and reports patients’ status and concerns to RNs. Elevates questions, problems and significant challenges to more senior healthcare staff for direction or subject matter expert. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
