Responsibilites Plans and develops various menus in compliance with current regulations/requirements Budget planning, record keeping and billing. Establishes departmental regulations and procedures in conformance with government regulations and company standards for organization of supervision of nutrition services. Audits serving areas, kitchen, kitchenettes, dining rooms and dish rooms for sanitation & regulatory compliance. Hires & Supervises Culinary & Nutrition Services Staff Preceptor for Students Required Qualifications Two or more years experience Ability to use technology in the form of computer data entry and ability to navigate designated software program as well as hand held devices, work cell phones, printers and copy machines. Certified Food Protection Manager Certified Dietary Manager or have similar national certification for food service management and safety from a national certifying body or have an associate's or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality, if the course study includes food service or restaurant management, from an accredited institution of higher learning or Has 2 or more years of experience in the position of director of food and nutrition services in a nursing facility setting and has completed a course of study in food safety and management, by no later than October 1, 2023, that includes topics integral to managing dietary operations including, but not limited to, foodborne illness, sanitation procedures, and food purchasing/receiving and Certified Dietary Manager Upon hire must be enrolled in (if has not completed already) a dietary manager course. Must become a Certified Dietary Manager within 1 1/2 years of hire date.
Bachelor of Science Bachelor's Degree: List – Registered Dietician and/or related field.
