- 2. Two (2) years of technical school training in trades and/or a minimum of ten years of appropriate commercial/residential construction experience preferred. 3. Must be skilled in all areas of carpentry and general construction. 4. Must be capable and skilled in functions noted but not limited to the following.
- Office, room, building layout and planning
- Rough framing – metal & wood
- Finished carpentry
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Casework installation
- Countertop installation
- Lay-in ceiling installation
- Carpet/VCT/vinyl floor covering installation
- Concrete work and finishing
- Brick and block work
- Construction supervision
- Project take-off and estimating project management 5. Must be familiar with tools, identification and use, related building codes, general mechanical repairs, machine operations and preventive maintenance gained through direct contact in a maintenance shop or maintenance activities.
