You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current RN Massachusetts License.
Certifications
✓Have or working towards advanced certification such as CCRN Certification/Cardiac Vascular Certification
✓AHA BLS & ACLS Certification.
Education
✓Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
✓BSN or working towards.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated proficiency in basic nursing process and critical thinking.
✓Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
✓Must have Cardiovascular Laboratory Experience within last year.
✓Must have experience with Epic EMR.
✓Must have experience with Impella, IABP, shockwave.
✓Ability to act independently in an emergency situation.
✓Experience with procedural sedation.
✓Knowledge of Cardiovascular Lab hemodynamic monitoring equipment
✓Experience with Cardiovascular Lab emergency equipment which includes but may not be limited to an Intra-aortic Balloon Pump and Temporary Pacing equipment.
✓Cardiovascular experience which may include Cardiac Diagnostic/Interventional Procedures, Pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation, Transesophgeal Echocardiogram/Bubble Study, Cardioversion, Nuclear Stress Testing, Peripheral Vascular Diagnostic/Interventional Procedures
✓Evidence of continuing education.
✓Evidence of strong preceptor and mentoring abilities
