Our team of electrophysiologists is headed by Dhanunjaya Lakkireddy, MD, FACC, FHRS, an internationally renowned leader in electrophysiology research and education. This position offers entry into a structured 1 to 2-year Device Technician Training Program designed to develop advanced expertise in cardiac rhythm management and implantable cardiac devices .

The role blends self-paced learning, classroom instruction, and hands-on clinical training, preparing candidates to independently: Interpret cardiac rhythms Perform device interrogations Troubleshoot and optimize device function The program is a tiered internal growth pathway, leading to HCA certification and progressive salary advancement.

in this role: Perform and interpret device checks on: Loop recorders Pacemakers Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices Evaluate and respond to device alerts and transmissions Complete MRI clearance assessments Provide patient education on device operation and safety Assist with patient communication and scheduling Perform EKGs as needed Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize device programming What Qualifications you will need: Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree ≥1 year of direct patient care experience Background in telemetry or cardiac rhythm monitoring Benefits Kansas City Heart Rhythm, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
