You’ll need
Licensure
✓Holds an active license as a Registered Nurse required and is eligible to practice in the state of Kentucky.
✓Registered Nurse (required)
Certifications
✓Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Education
✓Associates (required)
Qualifications
✓Proficiency in assisting with cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional procedures.
✓Leadership Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team and ensure operational efficiency.
✓Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
✓Technical Skills: Knowledge of Cath Lab equipment, monitoring systems, and safety protocols.
✓Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and handle unexpected situations in a fast-paced environment.
✓Computer Skills: Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems, inventory management, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
✓Must be able to see with corrective eyewear if needed.
✓Must be able to hear clearly with assistance if needed.
✓Must be able to distinguish colors.
✓Physical/Environmental Requirements
✓Lifting - 0-50 lbs, 50 or more with assistance
✓Carrying - 0-50 lbs, 50 or more with assistance
✓Pulling - Up to 200 lbs
✓Pushing - Up to 200 lbs
✓OSHA Category
✓High Potential for Direct Body Fluid Exposures
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in Cath Lab preferred.
Previous experience in a leadership or coordinator role in a clinical setting is preferred.
