About the role
Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations consisting of: Two-dimensional imaging, spectral and color flow Doppler, m-mode; trans esophageal; exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms; saline and left ventricular opacification studies on adult patients. Instruction of medical personnel in technical performance, clinical application, and cardiac pathology as it pertains to cardiac ultrasound.
