Cardiac-Vascular Sonographer

Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular Team engaging in the conduct and performance of Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound/Doppler diagnostic testing. Assists the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support. Functions independently with minimal supervision.

Other information: Required Technical School: Echocardiography or Ultrasound. Required

2 years in Ultrasound specializing in Cardiac and Vascular. Required Credentials: BLS (Basic Life Support); RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) OR RDCS (Reg Diagnostic Card Sonograph) AND RVT (Reg Vascular Tech Cert) OR RVS (CCI Registered Vascular Specialist) certification after 1 year of hire. Preferred - 5 years - Ultrasound.
