Cardiology Hospitalist APP

Job Requirements Health First Medical Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our established cardiovascular team in Viera, Florida . This is an exciting opportunity to practice alongside an experienced team of Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers, with strong support from Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and an experienced hospitalist team.

What You’ll Do As a Cardiology Hospitalist APP, you will play an integral role in the inpatient care of our cardiovascular patients. A typical day will include: Performing comprehensive patient assessments and detailed physical examinations Evaluating cardiology admissions from the Emergency Department Conducting daily rounds on general cardiology and telemetry patients Performing inpatient cardiology consultations Managing and interpreting cardiac devices and device-related needs Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies Managing advanced cardiac medications and treatment plans Coordinating interdisciplinary consultations to optimize patient outcomes Providing patient and family education Facilitating effective discharge planning and transitions of care Collaborating closely with Cardiologists, hospitalists, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team Position Highlights Full-time, employed APP position with Health First Medical Group Dedicated inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist role Established cardiovascular program with a highly collaborative team Strong support from Cardiology subspecialists, including Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology Opportunity to work with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions and inpatient presentations Supportive, multidisciplinary clinical environment Practice in Viera, Florida , a growing community on Florida's Space Coast What We’re Looking For Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Cardiology and/or inpatient experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to patient education and high-quality, patient-centered care Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment Eligible for appropriate Florida licensure and credentialing Join Health First Medical Group and become an integral part of a collaborative cardiovascular team providing comprehensive inpatient cardiac care in Viera, Florida.
