This position will perform routine and complex echocardiography, ECG, cardiac exercise and interventional Cardiac Catheterization procedures in accordance with department standards on the orders of the referring physician. Along with high quality patient care incumbent will manage the service consistent with medical, ethical, and legal requirements. Documentation: Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures.
Records appropriate cardiac structure on digital images and cine-loops to determine overall function of the heart with less than 2% omission rate. Proficient and competent with computerized documentation system. Organizational
Uses appropriate organization, priority setting and problem solving skills. Recognizes, accepts and cooperates with direction from facility leadership. Disposition of studies by patient status and age of order.
Completes study within scheduled shift unless cleared by the supervisor, noting completion on patient's chart 95% to 98% of the time.
