You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active PA Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Connecticut State Physician Assistant License, ACLS/BLS Certified, when indicated for position profile DEA License, when indicated for pediatric position profile PALS, when indicated for neonatal
✓OR Connecticut State Registered Nurse License, Connecticut State Nurse Practitioner License, Board specialty certification, as appropriate for position profile ACLS/BLS Certified, when indicated for position profile DEA License, when indicated for pediatric position profile PALS, when indicated
Current Connecticut APRN or PA license and applicable board certification preferred
Certifications
✓BLS and ACLS certification required
✓Additional licensure, certifications and/or continuing education credits may be required during employment based on position and area of specialty.
Education
✓Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
Qualifications
1-2 years of cardiology experience as an APP preferred
Experience in a procedural or cardiovascular setting is strongly preferred
Per diem providers are expected to commit to a minimum of two shifts per month and maintain some availability around holiday periods. Half shifts may be available based on department needs, with additional opportunities to cover PTO and leaves of absence. preferred
