✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Registered and certified by the ARRT or current license as a Registered Nurse in applicable state or Respiratory Therapist.
Certifications
✓If not licensed or certified (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)), allied health professionals will have 12 months to successfully obtain.
✓Must maintain current BLS, ACLS and Certification requirements.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology, such as Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or comparable.
✓Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum or two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist.
Qualifications
✓The Cardiovascular / Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist II must successfully meet and maintain the requirements of the complexity-based model of care.
