Licensure
✓Registered Technologist (R.T.) - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) - Required Upon Hire Or
Certifications
✓Successful completion of RCIS or ARRT program - Required
✓Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Required Upon Hire Or
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Upon Hire
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Required Upon Hire
✓Balancing/climbing (3-4 ft.) hold pressure on patient and to perform CPR.
Education
Associate's Degree - Preferred
Qualifications
✓2 Years - Cath Lab, OR, or Special Procedure experience - Required
✓Essential Technical/Motor Skills
✓Ability to handle instrumentation; fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, handle endoscopic equipment, manipulate suture material, walk, ability to speak clearly, hear, answer phone, data entry.
✓Ability to input computer data by typing information.
✓Must be able to calibrate equipment using fine motor skills.
✓Must also possess fine motor skills and use precise eye/hand coordination to manipulate small equipment.
✓Need to be able to speak articulately to patients, families, physicians and peers.

✓Exceptional - ability to work as a team.
✓Must build rapport with patient families, visitors, peers and physicians as well as other departments and divisions.

About the role
The Cardiovascular Technologist (R) works under the supervision of Director. The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, properly documenting all chronologically procedural events, analytical calculations, medications, equipment set up and operation, and instrumentation.
