✓Requirements
Licensure
✓If a Radiology Technologist (RT): General Radiographer licensure in the State of Florida.
✓If a Respiratory Therapists (RRT): Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure in the State of Florida.
Certifications
✓If a Paramedic (EMT-P): Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT-P) prior to start date and maintained.
✓American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained.
✓American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA ACLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card within 90 days of start date and maintained.
✓For Radiology Technologists: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R).
✓If a Certified Surgical Technologist: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) prior to start date and maintained.
✓If being hired into Neuro Interventional Lab: Stroke Scale Certification from American Heart Association (AHA), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME), or Apex within one (1) year of start date and maintained.
✓Any one of the following prior to start date and maintained:

✓Associate’s degree program in Radiologic Technology OR
✓Graduate of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program with one (1) year of specialty training OR
✓Graduate of Cardiopulmonary Technology Program OR
✓Graduate of Respiratory Therapist Program OR
✓Graduate of Emergency Medical Technician Paramedics (EMS-P/EMT-P) Program OR
✓Graduate of Surgical Technologist Program OR
✓Graduate of On-The-Job Training Technologist Program.
Qualifications
✓Ability to take call acknowledging emergency alerts within five (5) minutes and present to hospital facility within thirty (30) minutes of alert.
✓Knowledge of electrocardiogram (ECG) training and arrhythmia interpretation.
✓Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy.
✓Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring.
✓Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
