• Invasive Manager in developing unit schedule, anticipates staffing needs, reviews staffing coverage, and approves staff schedule change, PDO, and vacation requests. Actively participates in unit communications to disseminate clinical and administrative information to appropriate staff. Proficient use of all equipment to include computer tools used to support patient care. Provides patient/significant other with clear and concise staff education In collaboration with the Heart Center and others, provides staff education, maintains unit based competencies and participates in the Annual Education process. Assess the physical environment of the unit for cleanliness and safety hazards, and responds appropriately to effect a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and the public; evaluates equipment and supplies, and monitors for quality and effectiveness. Participates in EOC as needed. Prepares/submits monthly unit PI and provides staff with education on variances.
