Graduated from an accredited cardiovascular technology program or diagnostic medical ultrasound program. Extensive experience may substitute training.
5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience required with an exceeding internal quality score, or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) registered. Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required. Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International in Echocardiography (RCS) required.
