Certifications
✓ARDMS (RVT) or CCI(RVS) or ARRT(RVS) AND ARDMS(RDCS) or CCI(RCS)
✓Basic Life Support (BLS)
Education
✓Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR received on the job training by a Preceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
✓Two (2) years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
Qualifications
Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage schedules, and coordinate daily operations. preferred
Capability to make informed decisions regarding imaging procedures, patient care, and team management. preferred
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as performing imaging procedures while supervising team members. preferred
Proficient knowledge in producing diagnostic images with the ability to recognize technical abnormalities preferred
Knowledge of a variety of advanced procedures as applicable preferred
Knowledge of safe & proper machine operation. preferred
Knowledge of quality improvement programs. preferred
Knowledge of machine emergency procedures and radiation safety procedures. preferred
Knowledge of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. preferred
