We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Lead frontline nursing operations at UW Health Beaver Dam, a 48-bed acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, supporting safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care across the medical-surgical unit, Emergency/Urgent Care, and surgical services.
Provide visible clinical leadership and support by rounding hourly with patients, families, and staff, assessing needs, ensuring appropriate resources, and serving as a trusted clinical resource and mentor for the nursing team. Coordinate daily operations and patient flow, including staffing, admissions, transfers, discharges, assignments, delegation, and collaboration with interprofessional teams to ensure timely, efficient, and safe care.
Build and develop a strong nursing team through coaching, mentoring, constructive feedback, conflict resolution, professional development, and promotion of evidence-based practice, shared governance, and a healthy work environment. Drive quality, safety, and patient experience, using clinical data and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, reinforce regulatory and practice standards, lead safety huddles, and support process improvement initiatives.

Five or more years of in-depth acute care knowledge and inpatient nursing experience and prior leadership experience are strongly preferred.
