Case Management Assistant

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual, as needed Case Management Assistant to work alongside our Clinical Resource Management Department. Case Management Assistant (CMA) exercises independent judgment and professional discretion in the practice of case management to a selected group of patients. The CMA performs clerical and data entry procedures necessary to process referrals and other case management duties.

The CMA establishes and maintains an open channel of communication between CRM staff, payers, payers’ preferred providers, community resources and members of the clinical team to process requests, obtain essential information, and effect a timely transition. The CMA is proactive and uses collaborative problem solving skills to meet the needs of the patients and physician.
