Casual Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Job OverviewWe are seeking a casual physical therapist to support acute care patient needs at M Health Fairview Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury! The physical therapist will work with a variety of patient populations; including, but not limited to, ortho, neuro, general medical, general surgical, cardiac, oncology and medically complex. In collaboration with patients and families, the physical therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice.

This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes. FTE: .01, casual position.

Two weekend shifts every four weeks. Preference for candidates willing to pick up additional weekday and weekend shifts, as available! Fairview Rehabilitation offers a broad range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics.

Consisting of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Audiology and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs. Rehab’s continuing education program offers 40+ continuing education courses per year at no cost to employees and further supports numerous external CE courses each year.
