Licensure
✓Current New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license required.
Certifications
✓Current ARRT certification required.
✓Certification to administer contrast media required.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
✓Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program required.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience required.
CT experience preferred.
Knowledge of computerized axial tomography (CT) principles, equipment, and procedures preferred.

Produce high-quality CT imagesProduce high-quality CT images and evaluate them for technical accuracy and diagnostic quality
Correctly identify patients andCorrectly identify patients and accurately label all imaging studies
Exercise sound clinical judgmentExercise sound clinical judgment when selecting and modifying imaging protocols as appropriate
Administer contrast media inAdminister contrast media in accordance with established policies and maintain accurate documentation of medication administration
