Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants) Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure On Call for Emergent Procedures
(May qualify 1 of 5 ways): 1) Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR 2) Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR 3) Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR 4) 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR 5) RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education Required: Active BLS & ACLS certification (accepted from American Heart Association only)
