Cath Lab Technologist II

and Responsibilities As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting. Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet.

You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Job Requirements Required One (1) year of experience in Interventional radiology Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire or Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months Preferred Acute care hospital experience Where You'll Work Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is an 1,045 bed facility located in the Texas medical center.
