You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Vermont Registered Nurse or Compact RN license required.
Certifications
✓Current AHA BLS certification
✓ACLS and PALS provider/instructor certification (or within one year)
Education
✓Master’s degree or enrollment in an education, nursing, or other healthcare-related Master’s program with completion within two years
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience in acute care or relevant specialty
✓Strong ability to coach, mentor, and motivate nursing staff
✓Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
✓Availability to consistently work evenings, with flexibility for other shifts as needed
Experience in curriculum development and simulation-based learning preferred
Background in central education roles or multi-unit education preferred
Familiarity with quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives preferred
Proficiency with educational technologies and learning management systems preferred
Demonstrated experience mentoring or precepting nursing staff preferred
