Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) preferred C.S.P.D.T - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc preferred
Education
✓High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Qualifications
✓Experience as a Central Sterile Technician or similar role in a healthcare setting 1-2 years required
✓Working knowledge of sterile processing principles, instrumentation, sterilization methods, and infection prevention standards.
✓Proficiency in instrument assembly, packaging, sterilization, and equipment handling.
✓Ability to follow detailed procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
✓Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
✓Effective communication and teamwork skills
✓Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
✓Understanding of workflow prioritization and departmental operations in a healthcare environment.
