Centralized Scheduler

The centralized scheduler is directly accountable to the Admitting Leadership the Centralized Scheduler routinely schedules tests/procedure cases for all patients where services occur as a scheduled event. This may include, but is not limited to; Clinic visits, Surgery, G. I.

Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Nutritional Services, Infusion units or any other location where scheduling of a test or procedure may occur. Coordinates with departments as necessary. Ensures that accurate, complete and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, including insurance and authorizations if applicable.
