You’ll need
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent or minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
✓Minimum of 1 year of customer service, call center, medical office, or healthcare-related administrative experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Qualifications
✓Ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone, in writing, and in person.
✓Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
✓Basic computer proficiency, including ability to learn scheduling/registration software and use standard office applications.
✓Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous healthcare scheduling experience in a clinic, hospital, or multi-specialty environment. preferred
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and/or scheduling platforms. preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and common diagnostic/procedural visit types. preferred
Experience with insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization workflows. preferred
Bilingual skills (as applicable to patient population). preferred
