Certifications
✓The specialist must have documentation of successful completion of a specialty certification examination and maintain requirements for maintaining specialist credential.
✓In some circumstances a 1-year window to maintain a specialist credential via a specialty certification examination may be extended.
Education
✓A Bachelor’s degree with specialization in dietetics, nutrition, institution management, or a closely-related field and completion of a pre-planned professional experience in dietetics at a facility approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
Master’s degree preferred- will consider relevant degree
Qualifications
✓Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
5+ years of recent experience working in direct patient care And preferred
1+ years working in direct patient care with OB population And preferred
1+ years of direct experience working with patients diabetes preferred
Sound clinical foundation in all aspects of nutrition; strong communication and interpersonal skills; good organizational behaviors and ability to multi-task with an interdisciplinary team; self-motivated and able to function independently; good computer skills preferred
Additional Details preferred
4 to 5 day work week, hours may vary preferred
Ability to work at a computer for up to 2 hours at a time preferred
